Washable Couches and Sectionals with Machine-Washable Covers

Two washable collections, each with its own modular system

Mirewood makes two washable sofa collections, each with its own modular pieces (Halo and Valen pieces don't connect to each other). The Halo has the deep sink-in feel of an RH Cloud, with high-density foam and a down-blend wrap. The Valen has a medium-firm cloud feel with the same high-density foam and down-blend wrap: supportive and easy to get up from. Both work well for homes with kids and pets. The Halo uses a tightly woven performance cotton-linen blend and the Valen a linen-blend performance fabric, both lab-tested to 100,000 double rubs and made without PFAS, and both are built on frames of kiln-dried wood.

Connects without tools, ships within 72 hours

Every piece connects tool-free with hidden steel clips, so a 2-seater can become a sectional later by adding modules. Orders ship free within 72 hours to the 48 contiguous states, arrive flat-packed in cartons that fit a standard doorway, and assemble in about 15 to 30 minutes. Backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty on the frame and a 30-day return policy.

How to choose your washable sofa

Start with how you sit. Choose the Halo if you like to lounge: its 29.5" deep seat has a soft, sink-in feel. Choose the Valen if you sit upright, work or eat on the sofa: its 25.6" seat is medium-firm and easy to get up from. Then pick a size: a 2-seater for apartments, a 3- or 4-seater for most living rooms, or an L-shape, U-shape or 5-seat sectional for family rooms. Every cover, including the base, unzips and machine-washes on a cold, gentle cycle, then air dries.

Washable sofa FAQ

Can every cover go in the washing machine? Yes. Seat, back and base covers all unzip and wash cold on a gentle cycle. Air dry them rather than tumble drying.

Can I mix Halo and Valen pieces? No. The two lines have different seat depths and heights, so pieces connect only within the same collection. You can always add pieces from the same line later.
