Most customers assemble a Mirewood Halo or Valen in 15–30 minutes. No tools required. One person can do it solo.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Unbox your pieces. Your sofa arrives in 3–7 compact boxes (depending on configuration), each fitting through a standard 32-inch apartment doorway.
2. Lay out the base pieces. Position the seat bases in your desired configuration on the floor.
3. Attach the back rests. Each back rest snaps into the corresponding base with hidden steel connector clips. You'll hear a firm click when locked.
4. Attach the arms (on outer pieces). Same snap-clip mechanism. Position the arm against the base and press until you hear the click.
5. Attach the legs. Tool-free — each leg twists into a pre-installed threaded socket. Hand-tighten until snug.
6. Connect modular pieces to each other. Push pieces together at the seam. The hidden connectors engage automatically. A gentle tug confirms they're locked.
7. Place the cushions. Seat cushions and back cushions drop into place. Fluff to taste.

Total Time

• 2-seater — about 15 minutes
• 3-seater — about 20 minutes
• 5-piece corner sectional — about 30 minutes

Doorway Fit

Every Mirewood box is sized to clear a standard 32-inch apartment doorway. If your entry is narrower (some older buildings have 28–30 inch doors), email us — we can ship in slightly smaller breakout boxes on request.

Reconfiguring Later

Same process in reverse. Pieces disconnect by lifting and pulling away from each other. The connector clips release without damage. Rearrange your sectional whenever your space changes.
